Utah 10/2009

We went to Utah for a quick weekend trip so that Kurt could swim in the alumni swim meet and we had a blast! I didn't get any good pictures at the meet, but Kurt swam pretty fast for an old guy... he beat everyone on the actual BYU team in both the 50 and 100!!! The rest of the Mullen Family (minus Ryan's family) happened to be there too, so we had lots of fun hanging out with all of them and my brothers while we were there...
kurt might be 1/2 dog:
Jake in the spider web:
Izzy & Kurt had a blast running around and playing together:
so did Jake & Zoie... it's so fun to have cousins the same age :")

Jenna's Blessing

A few weeks ago we headed to Santa Barbara for the day for Kurt's brother Ryan's daughter Jenna's baby blessing! Kurt and baby Jenna:
Jake, happy to be outside:
Boys and cousin Marielle enjoying a cookie at their table:
AND, I still can't believe that I didn't take a picture of Jenna in her beautiful blessing dress, but I did happen to get one of her dressed up as a hot dog! Thanks Ryan and Mary Karlee for a fun day...
We love you Jenna :")

Bermuda

My dad had a work trip to Bermuda and we got to go too (thanks Dad!) ... without any kids ( thanks to my inlaws!)  We even celebrated our 6th anniversary in Bermuda too- so fun :")
Kurt, JD & Doug:
haha, this picture makes me laugh... please note that Tori is screaming and we haven't even left the rock yet :")
There are more pictures to come of all of us and our sweet rides (scooters) in Bermuda so get excited.  Also, the only two pictures that I have of the boys in El Paso while we were gone are the following and they are both doing something violent... welcome to my life! They are into all things violent: guns, swords, bad guys, etc. ... even Jake! I'm sure they kept Doc, Shula and Ally pretty busy all week fighting imaginary bad guys and pirates:

Rasmussen Family in Idaho

I plan on adding more pictures once I steal them off my parent's computer, but until then here are a few that I took...

I thought the house was a little TOO quiet, so I went on a hunt and found this...
My little snake has been causing a little trouble lately!!!

Fun TImes with the Fam

I wish I took more pictures while the Mullen fam was here in July, but we were having too much fun! We made several trips to the beach & pools, spent a day at Disneyland, shopped, Megan and Ally got to go to "So You Think You Can Dance, Dad made a few trips to Long Beach, Megan got to visit a few areas from her mission, and we all had our fair share of  Krispy Kreme Donuts :")

Here we are celebrating Megan's b-day a little early...
Shula & Jake, so sweet.
Love this picture of Ally...
Love this one even more of Kurt enjoying the park (totally alseep)...

FINALLY, the treasure... they were SO excited!
Kurt and T opening his treasure box:
Lunch time was all of Kurt's favorites... corn dogs, dorritos & grapes and Kurt cleared his plate!  Jake followed in his brother's footsteps and enjoyed his own corn dog (1st time having one and polished the whole thing off!), kinda nasty, but made his dad proud!
Kurt & Olivia:

Rowan & Jack:
Ruby & Naomi:
Taylor & Coleman:
Sydney, Piper & Max:

the kids ganging up on Captain Dougie:
I had to teach some of the girls how to hold the sword, but the got the hang of it pretty quick :")
Even Jake loved the sword fight and it is now his new favorite toy... he won't let go of that sword for anything! We cannot pry his little fingers off of it... he crawls with it, stands with it and eats with it in one of his hands, he is crazy!:

Kurt loved it SO much that he excitedly told my mom as she was walking the horse around the path "this is just like Disneyland!" I guess that means it was super fun?
Kurt the horse whisperer...

Ragnar Relay 2009

These pictures are from back in January so Kurt is about 2 1/2 yrs and Jake is 6 months...
I just wanted to document Kurt's legs ...
vs. Jake's legs...
Yes, I had to pry those fat little thighs out of the chair but he is starting to thin out & I just don't ever want to forget Jake's little chubs!
